He loves to study God’s Word so teaching Bible is a passion

Pastor Jay and Harriet have been in Ministry for well over 50 years. They worked in the church before devoting themselves to a ministry among the American Indians working at Sherman Indian High School and various reservations. They also were staff in a Boy’s Ranch in San Diego County reaching many troubled youth with the message of Christ. Jay taught several classes in Bible, English and Bookkeeping, as well as work experience. Harriet worked in the kitchen as well as her supervision of the boys. Leaving there as God directed they ministered in several churches as Children’sPastor, Youth Pastor, Pastoral Care and the Senior Pastorate for about 35 years.

Jay’s outside activities include woodworking, remodeling, golf, reading and cooking. He loves to study God’s Word so teaching Bible is a passion. Harriet was a Home-Ec Major/Bible Major at several colleges and universities including Biola, Central Washington State University and the University of Washington so her interests lie in the area sewing, quilting, cooking, making jewelry, scrapbooking and reading. She too loves to study God’s Word and taught Bible classes to women for over 20 years.
